LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

This sample document outlines the type of release, assumption of risk, and indemnification language participants should expect to sign before attending a Hollowpoint Group x Brothers In Arms course.

1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK

Participant understands that tactical firearms, medical, and protective driving instruction involves inherent and significant risks, including but not limited to discharge of live ammunition, vehicle operation, physical exertion, exposure to weather, and contact with training partners. These risks can result in serious bodily injury, permanent disability, or death.

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Participant voluntarily and knowingly assumes all such risks, both known and unknown, and accepts full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may result from participation in any course or activity conducted by HPG x BIA, its instructors, contractors, or representatives.

3. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF CLAIMS

In consideration of being permitted to participate, Participant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue HPG x BIA, its owners, instructors, employees, host facilities, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury sustained while participating in any course or related activity.

4. INDEMNIFICATION

Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless HPG x BIA from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur due to Participant's presence at or participation in any HPG x BIA activity, including attorney's fees, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

5. SAFETY RULES & CONDUCT

Participant agrees to follow all safety rules, range commands, instructor directions, and applicable laws at all times. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the course without refund. Participant certifies they are not under the influence of alcohol or any substance that impairs judgment or reaction time.

6. MEDICAL REPRESENTATION

Participant represents they are in good physical condition and have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation. Participant authorizes HPG x BIA to obtain emergency medical care on their behalf if needed, at Participant's expense.

7. MEDIA RELEASE

Participant grants HPG x BIA the right to capture and use photographs, video, and audio recorded during the course for training, marketing, and educational purposes, without compensation.

8. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the course is conducted. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
